A warm welcome to this brief introduction to our journey and experience within the health and social care sector.
Judith Soffe
With over 14 years of dedicated experience in health and social care, I have built a career grounded in compassion, leadership and a commitment to high-quality care. I have worked across a range of roles, including Carer, Senior Carer, Deputy Manager and Registered Home Manager, giving me a strong understanding of both frontline practice and the operational and regulatory demands of running a care service.
My experience as a Registered Manager has also given me first-hand experience of working with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), responding to regulatory concerns and navigating the challenges of service improvement and compliance. Although I was not able to achieve the turnaround I had hoped for within that service, the experience provided invaluable learning and a genuine understanding of the pressures providers and managers can face when standards fall below expectations.
I now bring this knowledge and experience into my work as a Health and Social Care Trainer and Consultant, providing practical training, guidance and support to care professionals and providers. My approach is honest, supportive and rooted in real-world experience, helping others to strengthen practice, build confidence, improve compliance and raise standards of care.
I am passionate about sharing what I have learned both from my successes and from the challenges I have faced, to help others provide safe, effective, compassionate and person-centred care.
Sara Pocock
With 24 years of experience within the health and social care sector, I bring a wealth of practical knowledge, experience and industry insight to our consultancy and training services. Throughout my career I have gained extensive experience in care delivery, quality standards, compliance and supporting staff to develop the knowledge and skills required to provide safe, effective and person-centred care.
Having experienced CQC requirements and inspections first hand I understand the challenges that care providers and their teams can face when maintaining compliance and demonstrating the quality of their services. This experience allow me to provide practical, realistic and evidence based guidance that can be applied within every day care settings.
I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and experience through training, consultancy and quality improvement helping care providers and their teams build confidnence, strengthen compliance and continuously improve the quality of care they deliver.
